Cara Delevingne On Her New Puma Pride Collaboration
The British supermodel, actress, and LGBTQIA advocate, Cara Delevingne goes into collaboration with the global sportswear giant, Puma for its new capsule collection, “From Puma with Love” to celebrate the Pride month event.
This new capsule, “From Puma with Love” is a 13-piece collection featuring vibrant colors, bold graphics, and rainbow designs across T-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, shoes, waist bags, slides, and more with price ranges from $20 up to $45.
Puma has announced the donation of 20 percent of its proceeds from this collection to the Cara Delevingne foundation which supports LGBTQ+ charities including The Trevor Project, Mind Out, and GLAAD.
Puma’s Global Director of branding and marketing, Adam Petrick in a statement said that the brand was proud to go into partnership with Cara Delevingne in celebration of Pride month through this new capsule collection which is dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ organizations across the globe.
He also added that Cara Delevingne’s active voice as a member and leader of the LGBTQ+ community makes her the best fit and partner for its new pride-inspired project.
Cara Delevingne expressed her love for this project and that the LGBTQIA community means a whole lot to her and that this collaboration just made sense.
She also added that she had been so lucky working with Puma in everything including their discussions as they have always been open to new ideas and her perspective.
She also added that the pieces were unisex and fun but that they are things people could wear every day even beyond the Pride month and that this collection was a champion of streetwear and high-low style.
She expressed her love for the sandals and the brand’s collection as she wears them a lot because it is so comfortable.
As part of the launch of this Pride collection, there would be digital hangouts, social media previews, and giveaways.
She also added that this pride collection would be a ray of hope to as many people that are facing hard times, battling with an illness or caring for their sick relatives as this would keep them motivated and positively minded.
She also added that pride is a way of life and not just a concept and that now is the time to celebrate mental health and kindness towards ourselves and not just for our communities.
